DIRECTIONS TO CLAYTON PARK RV ESCAPE ON LAKE HENRY

We are close to Scranton, Honesdale, Wilkesbarre & Lake Wallenpaupack. Allentown/Bethlehem is within an hour. And New York City and Philadelphia are within a few hours.

IMPORTANT FOR RV TRAVELERS

GPS and navigation apps may route you onto roads that are not the best approach for an RV.

Rather than your GPS, please follow these directions to 26 Eagle Eye Drive, Lake Ariel, PA, 18436.

All RVs should approach Clayton Park from Interstate 84, Exit 8 for Mt. Cobb/Hamlin.

DO NOT take Route 6 from Interstate 81.

DO NOT take Interstate 84 Exit 17/Newfoundland.

DO NOT approach Clayton Park using Routes 106 or 107.

Clayton Park is approximately 7 miles from I84, and some of the drive is a quaint slightly narrow, 2 lane country road.

Travelers using Interstate 81 North:

Travel north on I-81 through the Scranton area.
As you approach the I-81/I-84 interchange, follow the signs for I-84 East toward Milford.
DO NOT take Route 6 toward Carbondale. DO NOT take the exit for 435.
Follow the signs for I-84 East toward Milford, and go over the large bridge.
After the bridge, get in the left lane for I-84 East using Exit 24 toward Milford.
Take Exit 8 for Mt. Cobb/Hamlin (PA-247/PA-348). Then follow the directions from Exit 8 below.

Travelers using Interstate 81 South:

Travel south on I-81 toward Scranton.
DO NOT leave I-81 for Routes 106 or 107.
As you approach the Scranton/Dunmore area, follow the signs for I-84 East toward Milford.
DO NOT take Route 6 toward Carbondale. DO NOT take the exit for 435.
Follow the signs for I-84 East, and go over the large bridge.
After the bridge, get in the left lane for I-84 East using Exit 24 toward Milford.
Continue on I-84 East to Exit 8 for Mt. Cobb/Hamlin. Then follow the directions from Exit 8 below.

Travelers using Interstate 380 North:

Travel north on I-380 toward Scranton.
To the right, take I-380 Exit 24 for I-84 East toward Milford.
DO NOT continue to I-81 or Scranton.
Continue on I-84 East to Exit 8 Mt. Cobb/Hamlin (PA-247/PA-348).
Before Scranton, make the right exit for Interstate 84 East using Exit 24 towards Milford.
Take I-84 Exit 8 for Mt. Cobb/Hamlin. Then follow the directions from Exit 8 below.

Travelers using Interstate 84 West:

Travel west on I-84.
DO NOT take Exit 17 for Newfoundland.
Continue to Exit 8 for Mt Cobb/Hamlin (PA-247/PA-348). Then follow the directions below from the Exit 8 ramp.

From I-84 Exit 8 ramp:

If traveling I-84 East:

At the end of the Exit 8 ramp, turn LEFT toward the traffic light.

If traveling I-84 West:

At the end of the Exit 8 ramp, turn RIGHT toward the traffic light.

Then, from the stop light at the Onvo travel plaza:

► RIGHT at light and north onto Mt Cobb Highway/Route 348. 0.7 mi

◄ LEFT onto Cortez Road (Smokin' Joe's market will be on your right) 5.6 mi Stay RIGHT at Y approx. 4.5 miles in. Then you'll pass the VFW with a green metal roof on your right. The road will get windy, and then straighten out just before Maplewood Road.

► RIGHT onto Maplewood Road 0.6 mi

◄ LEFT onto Swoyer Road 0.3 mi

► RIGHT onto Eagle Eye Drive 300 ft (entrance is marked by stone pillars)

At the gate:

Push the button on the call box (see directions on box).

Once gate opens, pull ahead toward the large gray office building and park where the sign says RVs Park Here.

For your safety, NEVER exit your vehicle and walk under the security gate.
