GETTING HERE

Please pay close attention to these directions. If you are using Good Sam's Directions, they do not reflect the current detour in place after you get off I84. If you do not use our directions and choose to use GPS, you will need to take precautions and avoid two routes with your RV.  1) Avoid Route 6 because Archbald Mountain has a very steep steep hill at the other end, and 2) Use Exit 8 for Mt. Cobb.  Clayton Park is approximately 7 miles from I84, and some of the drive is a quaint slightly narrow, 2 lane country road.

  • From I84 East (toward Milford) or from I84West (toward Scranton), take Exit 8 for Mt. Cobb/Hamlin

  • At stop sign at end of exit ramp, go onto PA 247 in the direction of the traffic light and Liberty/Burger King station. (Travelers coming off East I84 turn left. Travelers coming off West I84 turn right.)

  • Right at the light and go North onto Mt Cobb Highway/Route 348    0.7 mi

  • Left onto Cortez Road 4.5 mi

  • Right onto Maplewood Road  0.6 mi

  • Left onto Swoyer Road 0.3 mi

  • Right onto Eagle Eye Drive (at stone pillars)      300 ft

  • At gate, ring bell on bright green box (see directions on box)

If you use GPS, make sure it takes you to Exit 8 for Mt. Cobb/Hamlin

Avoid Route 6
