BRINGING YOUR PETS

Stop and scroll down for information needed when bringing your pet to Clayton Park, including our pet policy, local veterinarians, and other pet services.

PET POLICY

Clayton Park gladly welcomes you and your pets, per our pet policy. [i] Please read this policy in its entirety. You can also watch this short video on Pet Policy FAQs.

You must recognize that you are in an environment where there are likely to be many other dogs and many small children. Therefore, we take our leash requirements and supervision of pets seriously. To provide a safe and pleasurable experience for everyone, all campers at Clayton Park agree to abide by this pet policy. Have you ever been asked to provide proof of insurance for your dog? Do you know if you are insured in the event your dog bites someone? What about if your dog is bitten by another dog? Did you know that in the U.S., a dog bite occurs every 75 seconds, and every day 1000 people seek emergency treatment for dog bites? As responsible campground owners, we must think about it. Have you? When asked, Campers must also provide proof of insurance (your declarations page) for their dog. Read more about why you should insure your dogs here.
